Letter to Mr. Ba Hum Bug

Dear Mr. Ba Hum Bug,

I’m writing to tell you it's enough. We got you, we have heard you, we have understood, you don’t like the Holidays, now please stop complaining and whining.
Maybe this Holiday is not the easiest time of the year for you; let me tell you this….
This Holiday is not an easy time for lots of people including people close to you.
Your whining, groaning, moaning and squawking, doesn’t do any good to you and the people around you.

We know part of the world forgot the meaning of Christmas but there is another part of the word that knows what CHRISTmas is about and wants to feel it and rejoice in the love that it brings. They want to make a beautiful time of reflection on the humble birth of Jesus Christ, a time of God showing His great love for us, a time of healing and renewed strength. God sent His Son, Jesus, into the world to be born. His birth brought great joy to the world. Shepherds, wise men, and angels all shared in the excitement of knowing about this great event. They knew this was no ordinary baby. The prophets had told of His coming hundreds of years before. The star stopped over Bethlehem just to mark the way for those who were looking for this special child. Your whines affect the people next to you drag them down and brings sadness.
For the next few days give us a break. I’m not asking you to change, just asking you for a break, you don’t want enjoy it,  it's fine. but if you can stop it will be appreciated.

Sincerely,

The Italian Bird

Happy Easter

Resurgence

It's that time of year:
the weight and white of winter
has rolled away.
Streams are free to flow.
There is a bright beginning to the day,
Hearts and minds are moved to
wonder and reflection.
Everywhere now, birth and rebirth:
on branch and bough,
miracles of resurrection!

Give and Receive

Give and receive love openly. It's should not take much to show someone that we care. Half day and already a full collection of cards, candy heart, chocolate and flowers filling up the bag. On daily basis a simple smile or an act of kindness should do the work, and bring a hint of sweetness to someone's day. It's great warm up both, who give and who receive when it's done with love.

Should be Valentine's Day every day!
