Happy Anniversary

Today is my 12 years wedding Anniversary.
I feel very bless be marry to my husband. He is my love, my best friend, the one I laugh with, live for, dream with….a time he also may be pain but I’m taking that too. With the years our relationship as grows more, getting better with the years as my hubby would say love matures like a fine wine. A very wise couple said that the Honeymoon never should be over is so true. It doesn’t take a lot to be happy.

Usually on our anniversary we spend a weekend out of town. This year we decided to stay local and have some fun around here, watching the Blue Angels fly for the Memorial Day, have some sweet time, nice dinner, and we also don’t want to miss a special speaker in church. Did we have fun? Let put this way my jaw is in pain from laughing that hard, my husband said he needs a cast for his funny bone. In one word HILARIOUS. Definitely I had the best anniversary day ever in 12 year. Again it doesn’t take a lot to be happy.

What means to be an American

After twelve years of being married, I finally decided to become an American citizen.
I really don't know why it took me so long or why I'm doing it now, I always consider to apply for it, but never did. I have been working all the time, I have been paying my taxes. Last summer 2009 during presidential campaign, I was disappointed knowning that I could not vote.
Instead of just complaining or criticizing events all the time and doing nothing about it, I decided to do something about it! On October 2009 I applied and Monday, April 5, 2010 at 10:30am, I become official an American citizen. During my interview I was little nervous, I studied well, I also had help from a friend whow testing me during our one hour commute back and forth from work, I did not have a problem with answering all the questions. I was getting little emotional and I had to compose my self to keep my tears back. During my oath I had fun listening to the story of our ninety year old judge told. I made a new friend and I was really overwhelm by all my friends wishes. I also had a congratulation cake, a beautiful watch from my husband's cousins and a wonderful dinner to celebrate. I am happy and I know it means more than I can imagine!!!!!! It's really, really,a very big deal to excersise your rights as an AMERICAN!
